"We booked Savoy for its great location and 5 start rating. Unfortunately my wife get extremely sick the day we arrived (from food she ate at the airport on our journey to Seychelles) and eventually needed hospitalisation in an emergency situation one night - an extremely stressful and worrying experience, especially being so far from home. However, the hotel staff were truly incredible and became our family away from home. When my wife needed hospitalisation during the night, the night managers made all of the arrangements for us to get to the hospital as quickly and safely as possible, and were physically present during our emergency. One of the restaurant staff also came with us to the hospital after her late evening shift due how ill my wife was and concern with the situation - she stayed with us in the hospital until 4am and went to and from the hospital with us, which we are incredibly grateful for. When we returned to the hotel at 4am, the managers were on standby and ensured that the chef had prepared specially made meals for my wife, which they also did throughout the remainder of our stay. The staff were incredibly attentive, caring and gave us incredible service to ensure they did everything they could to make our stay as good as possible in the circumstances. A very big shout out to Abdullah (reception manager), Armia Moussa (night manager) and Gaelle (restaurant staff) who all helped us during our emergency - they went above and beyond and we are forever grateful!"

"The property is absolutely divine. Not too big and never felt overcrowded and the villas are spacious and private, also very comfortable and modern. Older property but excellent upkeep. Rustic and tropical and just one with nature. Whenever there was an issue and usually something simple like a blown bulb it was sorted right away. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly always going above and beyond to ensure our experience was world class! From the special anniversary dinner to the private dining experience, the curation of our island experience, the early check in and the late check out. Even the several brews of ginger lemon honey and rum provided when we were under the weather made our stay so personable and accommodating and just so absolutely blissful!!!! Congratulations to the team and our deepest gratitude for making our getaway so special and memorable. Much love to you all!!!!"

"highly recommend this property. 2 bedrooms apartment very nice, with views of the mountains and sea. 2 grocery stores within 1 min walk. Fishermen and fresh fruits and vegetables within 2 mins drive. City center Victoria 20 mins drive, Beau Vallon beach 20 mins drive. We rented a car from the airport. cleaning lady very nice and friendly. came every other day to clean the apartment fully. she was always present on site to ask if we needed anything and was always helping us. We arrived late at night, around 10 pm and someone was around to check us in. On site parking and security guy present all night long. "

"We had a great experience here - we did a split stay as visiting another island in between, the team recognised us when we returned and had prepared our room for an early arrival which we really appreciated. The concierge (Debbie) was brilliant, really friendly and engaging every time we met with her and able to make good restaurant suggestions, helped with early airport taxis and sorting a rum tasting. We didn’t stay long enough to do any activities but seemed like lots of options available, the beach restaurant is cool with a nice team and good food but I didn’t like that you had to pay extra (1000SCR) if you wanted to use a lounger. "

"Henri and his staff were amazing. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was what I wanted. Although Le Domaine de Bacova is south of Victoria there is a good grocery store nearby, plus a little dairy store and bakery very close by. I was lucky enough to be there on Saturday and could get some fresh local produce from the Farmers Market by the dairy. I did not have a vehicle but there is a local bus service which is very cheap and easy to use. I tripped around but also had time to relax on the beach which is a very short walk away. I enjoyed every moment of my stay. Thank you"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this quite grand colonial style villa. Our room (the master bedroom) was large and airy, nicely furnished with a huge bathroom. The bed was comfy and the walk in wardrobe made keeping things tidy a breeze. We were well looked after by the hosts and their on site assistant, Alam. He was always around to get drinks or beach towels, umbrella's etc and keep the villa clean and tidy. The villa is up a steep access road (which is not uncommon on the island due to the local topography)and about a mile out of Beau Vallon which means a car is pretty much essential to get to the fabulous beaches and local eateries. However, the access road & parking could be considered to be somewhat challenging unless you are a confident driver. We enjoyed the breakfasts which consisted of a platter of varied fresh fruit, eggs of your choice and pancakes obviously prepared with care. Alternative options were offered as well. The hosts also offered a 3 course evening meal option Unfortunately this was not available every for night of our stay. The food was excellent and, although we initially thought it seemed expensive, it turned out to be be good value in comparison with the better local restaurants. We found the Villa a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. It's not perfect by any means, but you'd have to be pretty picky to find much to complain about and it was a more personal & comfortable experience than the standard hotel offerings."

"Arrived at night, but when I stepped out of my room in the morning, I had the most gorgeous view of the island, as this property sits at the top of a hill. There is an open-air breakfast area and sitting area (right outside the bedrooms) where you can gaze at the view for as long as you like."

"Great property, service & location. Conveniently located on a beautiful beach with many restaurants and shops. Room was beautiful, modern and comfortable, and had everything you may need during your stay. "

"LOVED the ocean views. Holden's hospitality is superb. Note: the property is on a steep hill and I do not recommend that you WALK back up the hill from the beach as it really is steep. Great for people who rent a car, otherwise rely on cabs. Go to the K&K supoermarket (Indian-run and very clean) five minutes from the property for your groceries. Make sure you go out for at least one meal (lunch or dinner) every day. The food in the Seychelles is DELICIOUS. "

"This was a fantastic accommodation to stay at. Michael (owner) couldnt do enough for us. Lovely greeting on our arrival, had lots of advise and information to give. He and all staff were very approachable and could help with anything, nothing was too much trouble. The cleaning staff were a delight to chat to and made us feel very welcome. It was great to have the restaurant on the premises as there wasn't anywhere local. Great food with an extensive menu and large portions! We hired a car through Michael which was so easy and at a very reasonable price. The pool was lovely as it was nice to cool down when needed. I would certainly recommend this property, clean, safe and fantastic customer service and experience! "

"Really good stay. Hotel nice and quiet and well placed to walk to Eden Island. Lovely big room with good amenities and super big shower. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Plus even though it was overlooking the water it only took 5 minutes to get to the airport! Bonus!"
