Ilse & Peter immediately made us feel at home and the fact that I could speak in my very foreign Afrikaans language, and they understood me, made it even more special! It's a great place to stay over, or perhaps to have a holiday (which I will do sometime with the family). The location is spectacular, in a pine forest and super relaxing and away from everything. "The place is a large farmhouse, 1000 years ago it was used by farming monks. 15 minutes from Barcelonette and everything the Ubaye valley and the Mercantour have to offer (We're hikers, but folks come here to bike or drive their Porsches on mountain roads too). "Room is nicely decorated and clean. well priced. Internet is fast which is very very rare in French hotels so I really appreciated that.
The food is not great , the staff English is limited. cleaning crew refused to hand wash my clothes - said they were busy though they said they do laundry (even though I said I would pay) . They also didn’t change my towel twice though I put it on the floor like indicated in the signs . Also funny garbage smells in the garden and in the corridor "

Franchement un club qui ne paye pas de mine par rapport aux gros du marché mais qui mérite le détour. En olus bien placé Vis à vis des activités nautiques et terrestres.
