"We had a very nice overnight stay on our way back home through Sweden. The hotel is well-situated in the middle of nature, just off the highway but far enough to not hear traffic noise. Breakfast offered a small but good selection. Overall a bit pricey but nice."

The only problem we had was we used the parking service for the garage opposite and even though we paid, we got a fine, as we should have had a parking permit from the hotel, which the hotel didn't even know about. So don't use apcoa when you park up there. Otherwise the location is beautiful right near the canal and the food was really good in the restaurant. "

"The check in, the room, the buffet, well everything at RĂ„d Huset was outstanding and the young lady that was at the check in was very helpful. I tip my hat to her."
"We booked a couple of nights at this property. There are two buildings, the main one where the reception is located and another building close by where we stayed the first night. As we arrived on a Friday evening, we had a room on the first floor of the annex which has a bar under it that closes at 2am so we could not sleep until then. We found out that it only closes that late on Fridays and Saturdays so we asked to be moved for the second night. If you stay on all other nights, Sunday to Tue is closed and on the other nights it closes at 11pm so not a huge issue. The hotel needs a bit of a refurb as the rooms are dated and the windows should at least be replaced with double glazing to help with the noise. There is a free car park close by and the town is walking distance. "
