"A comfortable, clean business hotel with the added advantage of an onsen on the ground floor. Conveniently located in the traditional area of Yamagata on a bus route from the station. Breakfast in the top floor restaurant was buffet style."

"Although having booked a non-smoking room there was an unpleasant smell in the entire hotel and the Room had definitely been used as a smoking room in the past. I slept with perfume on my pillow and window open as far as that was possible.
My complaint about thiese circumstances were brushed off with the argument that the Hotel was full and no possibility to change.
The duvet cover was full of stains as well on the upper as on the foot side, as I found out, they had turned sides before...

"It’s not convenient for people using trains. The road getting to the hotel is very slippery, although it might be only a very short distance walking from the bus terminal to the hotel."

"The location was excellent. The hotel has a connected pathway to the station building so it easy to move around even on rainy days. Convenience stores, coffee shops, dining options were all within walking distance. The hotel room and toilet was spacious, amenities were sufficient also. I had a comfortable stay here."

I didn't know much about the city or surrounding area however I am confident in saying it has been one of my favourite places in Japan. I would highly recommend visiting if you like the outdoors or want to visit somewhere a bit different.
"We stayed at OneFive Sendai for 2 nights. We had only reserved 1 night but our plans changed and they were able to accommodate us. The room was quite spacious and we liked that it was clean and newer. Bathroom had a huge countertop which was unusual for Japan and we loved it!"
"A place cannot be more convenient than this. Everything within walking distance. Good food, shopping, transportation, etc. The place is clean and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. "
"Good location in central of Sendai. Near station and all families restaurant. Excellent cleanliness and excellent air conditioning power than other hotel"
"This hotel really deserves stars. Even a standard twin is good-sized. The hotel and the room are both in immaculate conditions. The staff are vety helpful. Would definitely recommend it."
"Surprised by the large space of the room and bath, no problem to accommodate our group of three people. Sendai Daikannon also visible on good weather. Although not located in city centre, it's next to a DFO complex so shopping and dining are just several minutes walking away."
"The Almont was a short walk away from Sendai Station, so very manageable with a carryon. Nearby there were many restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping areas. Air conditioner worked beautifully. Also, I used the coin-operated washer and dryer in the women's bath; 500yen for 120 minutes wash+dry. It worked well and had a passcode lock feature so you could walk away without worrying. I would definitely stay here again."
"Staff was very welcoming, meals were executed very well, sulfur baths and open baths were very nice. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. Great place to stay "
