We met and fell in love in Ann Arbor 45 yrs ago (my husband was a grad student and I worked at UofM). So it has a very special place in our hearts. It is vibrant and has many outstanding (& reasonable) cultural opportunities. We love Ann Arbor!!

Ann Arbor is a great college town with a lot to do and even more dining options. Very walkable. It's very midwest and not terribly overpriced compared to surrounding areas.

Big House games are great, cab transportation is predatory, other hotels are clean, welcoming and friendly. Red Roof in is none of these.
