"The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and there were several nice touches, such as a handwritten welcome card with chocolates in our room and turn-down service, where they would drop off bottles of water with a card noting the next day's weather. The Island just feels remote and quiet. Everyone we encountered was friendly. Did not feel touristy at all. Beaches were very clean and family friendly. We cannot wait to go back and explore the area some more. Great mini golf too! Loved it!

Lots of excellent restaurants, good shopping, easy to get around by car, more so during the off season. Avoid Saturdays (change over day) during the high season months or traffic will ruin your mood and day.

A great option for an off season getaway. Beaches are beautiful. Food is good. Golf is good if you don't mind alligators. No nightlife to speak of. Most places close at 9 to 10pm.

Always love HHI...had some great seafood and the island is kept very clean and has lots of natural beauty. You can tell that they work very hard to keep their island beautiful and as natural as possible without fast food signs etc. in your face.

"Everything was great, clean, and roomy. The secondary room did not have a full size bed plus 2 twin beds as advertised. It only had 2 twin beds. The bright orange street light out front caused the room to be as bright as daylight during the night making it impossible to sleep. We recommend to property owners to add a blackout shade to that room window as the blinds were not enough.
We also hope that in the future, your no smoking policy will state that no weed should be smoked in or around the property as well as the neighbor to the left waa foung so and it smelled awful. That would definitely lower the class and family atmosphere of Hilton Head if that were to start up everywhere. I specifically come to Hilton Head as it is so clean and essentially a smoke-free island with smoke-free properties. That policy makes it a lovely and classy place to stay. "
