"This was a one night stop on our way south - we have stayed before and enjoy seeing the horses nearby. The breakfast was very nice. the only issue was that the holder for the shower head was broken, so we had to hold it ourselves. A good budget friendly place in summary. "

"The hostel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s an 20 minute walk into town but that was fine. There are supermarket options very close by. Our room was very warm at night but for the price we paid it was excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend. "

"Decent hotel in a not especially nice location. The hotel does a good breakfast. Big room with excellent aircon, nice bathroom and good WiFi. Double bed was two singles pushed together, very comfy but it had separate mattress toppers which tended to move apart leaving a gap down the middle. Staff are helpful and everything is very keen. Location has good and bad points, its a couple of minutes walk to the nearest metro, 10 minutes walk to Lille Flandres station and 15 to the city centre. But the area around the hotel is all offices some of which are disused and is unattractive although it feels safe. Overall the hotel is good value and I would stay here again but the location isn't great from a leisure travel point of view "

"Location is fair, in that it's around 25 mins walk to either Europe or Flanders stations, and maybe the same to Lille old town. Very close by, are a couple of mini supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. Although it backs on to busy highways, the Aircon and double glazed windows meant no noise at all, and perfectly controlled temperature. Also, there was no noise from fellow guests. The only 2 slight criticisms of the room, are lack of trash bin, and lack of storage space. Overall though, one of the most pleasant overnight stays I've had. "

"Great location! Just a couple minute walk away from the centre of Lille. Very clean hotel, daily housekeeping, really good breakfast and definitely a cozy feel in the lobby. Easy check in and out. Would definitely stay there again. Parking is limited in the public street if you have a car because of outside construction on that block but once that’s done I’m sure it would be better."

"What an absolute disgrace. We booked what was advertised as a beautiful, upscale new hotel, complete with high-end amenities. What we got was a construction zone masquerading as a functioning property. From the moment we arrived, it was clear we had been misled. The building is still under construction—loud, dusty, chaotic, and utterly unfit to host paying guests. The spa? Nonexistent. The pool? Closed. The air conditioning? Barely functional. Construction workers and their equipment filled the halls, stairwells, and elevators—making basic movement a challenge. The so-called “lobby” and “restaurant” looked like someone abandoned a project halfway through—stark, unfinished, and unwelcoming. Our room? Paint-smeared floors, a missing door handle that made the bathroom a safety hazard, and basic amenities like the TV and fridge that didn’t work. We had to call for help multiple times just to get through our stay. When we asked for compensation, we were offered free breakfast. That’s it. For the price we paid (in full, in advance), this was a bait-and-switch of the worst kind. The only reason I’m giving this two stars instead of one is because the staff tried to be helpful (even when they couldn’t do much) — and the croissants were truly excellent. But that’s far from enough to justify the disaster we walked into."
