It is very close to Ancient Olympia, but even if you just want a nice place to enjoy rural Greece, House Olympia is a perfect spot. Room was good sized and had a wonderful view of the hills.
They’ve managed to squeeze in a nice little pool which was very welcome in the heat.

"I would give 6 stars for the staff and service. The manager, Damien, was super friendly and helpful. Despite that we checked in at the midnight, he greeted us warmly and ushered us to our room, explaining everything thoroughly. He also suggested us how to explore Olympia and vicinity, which helped us a great deal. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. Location was perfect too with just a few minutes walk to the museums and archeological site. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Olympia."

The owners are very nice and helpful with suggestions for day trips. The property is a mini resort with all the amenities of larger properties only on a smaller scale. The rooms a well appointed by European standards and comfortable with a large bath. The balcony overlooked the Gulf of Patras and was very spacious with chairs and a drying rack for swimwear.
