If you're after a 'jungle' experience, this is for you (surprisingly few mosquitos!) The rooms are cute and basic, but comfortable with great vistas of the jungle. "The villa, the food, the professional staff, and the properties beautiful gardens, facilities and grounds were excellent. The breakfast was excellent and memorable. Though a shuttles and rides to island sites could be arranged, we only used a driver once and the driver was thoughtful, safe and informative. We rented a car for the week and experienced moped mania on the many small roadways…without incident or accident safely; however, if you never driven on the left side of the roadway or not use to bumper to bumper traffic during rush hours 8am-6pm then renting a moped if you plan on visiting a lot of places to include eating out in restaurants highly rated. We navigated through everything well so no issues or complaints."

The hotel itself is stunning — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature. Our room was spotless, with lovely ambient lighting, daily fresh water bottles, complete toiletries, and the most gorgeous view of rice terraces in the background. It felt relaxing and happy the entire time.
The breakfast buffet was phenomenal — tons of options, fresh fruits, juices, hot dishes, and attentive service. We looked forward to it every morning! The front desk staff always greeted us with a smile and were super helpful in arranging taxis and anything else we asked.

The resort has a lively but relaxed energy, with beautifully designed spaces, a huge main pool that runs all the way to the beach, and thoughtful touches everywhere. We stayed in a private villa and loved the spacious layout, swing bed, and plunge pool. It felt like a peaceful retreat tucked inside a bustling beach town.
The butler service really elevated the experience. Even though this is a larger property, the team made it feel personal. We didn’t expect that kind of attention at a resort this size, but it was a great surprise. Every staff member we interacted with was warm and professional, especially the receptionist that checked us in (sorry I don't recall the name!) and our butlers, Arya and Pras.
