"It’s an easy hotel, simple and without extra luxury, but clean and we got what we expected. There is a parking at 5 min walking with a lot of space. The breakfast buffet is also very good, although I would have preferred with more fresh fruits. "

"After many hours on the road, we finally arrived at the "Carathotel Basel/Weil am Rhein" and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and our room was absolutely perfect. We were given a huge, comfortable bed, and everything was clean and well-prepared. We truly can’t fault a single thing and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay. "

Prices are probably high because of the nearby Swiss border and even more expensive Swiss hotels across that. - If you arrive by car, there is a large parking lot, however, if you arrive by public transport ( bus or tram) you will have to walk quite a distance, in an area that does not seem very safe or meant for pedestrians (...

"Fantastic hotel! Staff is very friendly, warm and informative with suggestions to help enhance your stay in Basel. The room is quiet and the AC keeps it at a great temperature amid this current heatwave. AC can often be a rare commodity at hotels here and rarer that it actually cools the room. Such a comfortable stay that I extended it!"
