"Lovely hotel with lovely reception staff. We only had a brief overnight stay and were very happy with it. Not so great was the noise from the kitchen generator. Not for anyone who doesn’t want to be on the flight path. "

"Spent 2 nights at The Cricketers, had a lovely stay, our room was in The Pavilion annex, spacious room, lovely bathroom, spotlessly clean, comfy bed.
We ate both evenings at the pub, the food was wonderful and very tasty. Breakfast was great, with a very good choice. The lady doing the breakfast service was brilliant, so efficient and friendly.
Staff were very good, polite and helpful.
Very enjoyable stay, we will be back. "

Jet 2 staff were also very professional and friendly Shuttle train on return was very crowded and delayed us getting us back to car as it was the 4th shuttle that we managed to get on after waiting 15 minutes or so

I usually choose Stansted Airport for our journeys and will come to this hotel.
"This hotel was perfect for our early morning flight from Stansted. Parking was very easy and only a short walk to the terminal for our early morning flight. The staff were friendly. A continental breakfast bag was provided for us as we were leaving the hotel at 3.30am. Our 3 rooms were booked last minute and were actually all next to each other which is never guaranteed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel provided exactly what we needed. "

"We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning.
We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room.
The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows.
We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed.
We would stay here again if we had an early flight from Stansted as it's less than 10 minutes from the airport."

"What can i say about Tewinbury Farm Hotel other then WOW!!
Its such a lovely place and was my second stay here.
First stay was in the Lincoln red room with the hot tub and was lovely however this time i wanted to try one of the Lake huts and was giving the Cornflower hut and i was not disappointed in the slightest.
The cabin is surprisingly spacious and is very well thought out with a great view over the lake and the alfresco bath tub which was amazing.
I would highly recommend spending a night in once of these huts as it really did feel like a special place."
