"Great, friendly hotel surrounded by amazing nature"

"Very friendly property owner. We arrived late but we still could have dinner even though the kitchen was almost closing up. Beds were a bit squeeky unfortunatly. But overall a great quiet place to stay for a few days and explore the surroundings. Parking right at the entrance."

"Das Zimmer war sauber und schön, wir waren zufrieden auf diese Seite ABER das Empfang Personal waren eine von die Schlimmste Erlebnisse ich habe erlebt. Wir sind 15:08 zu der Hotel angekommen, auf Mail steht es Check-in ab 15:00 Uhr. Ich gehe rein und niemand ist dort. Ich warte 10 min und gar nichts, dann anfange ich auf eine klingping lärm zu machen nur dass in der Hoffnung jemand kommt, erst dann kommt ein Frau runter und schaut mich an als ich zwei Kopfe habe und fragt hast du reserviert....

"This was a great place to stay. It had its own parking spots and was central to walking for food and groceries. Very beautiful area! We also loved that it was very close the trail we had planned to hike. The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was good, and the staff at the place were friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend! "

"Ein uriger alter Gasthof, mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Leider ohne Restaurant und Frühstück, aber im Ort ist alles vorhanden. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und bemüht, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. "

"It's a nice hotel with good sized rooms. We were pleasantly surprised to see a small refrigerator and microwave in the rooms, with table, chairs, sofa at no extra cost. The couple who manages this hotel are very friendly as well. It will be nice if they provide the proper tea cups in the rooms, instead of the plastic ones. But overall we were happy with the experience."

"This is a charming and pleasant inn. It is clean and well maintained. We however found the bed mattresses to be saggy and lumpy. It’s important to know that the church clock across the road does ring out every quarter hour and the hour on the hour. Found the breakfast to be basic but good with some excellent bread and rolls. "The Hotel is perfect to reach via Train since it is wihtin the Train Station. Also it is calm around and one Cannot hear the Trains in the rooms. The bathroom is spacious and equipped. Overall We really enjoyed the stay With complimentary breakfast. "

"This is a lovely little family run hotel in the high Black Forest. The owners were very accommodating, even offering to cook for us on the first night despite it being the one night a week when the restaurant is closed. The hotel owners only took over in December 2024 and are working hard to improve an already lovely place. The breakfast spread was lovely, lots of fresh and delicious food. "Great stay but way too complicated for check in and getting a Konos card (we never got one). The breakfast door was locked and folks were trying to figure out how to get in, and only entered when someone left. Rooms are great for families. "

"Absolute Empfehlung: Gelungener Umbau mit einer riesigen sehr schönen modernen Wellness-Area, einem top-eleganten Fitness-Center (wahrscheinlich dem schönsten, in dem ich jeweils war, sehr nobel). Sehr saubere Zimmer mit einer gemütlichen Licht-Atmosphäre und detailverliebtem Turn-Down Service. Ein weiteres grosses Plus: Das Essen auf höchstem Niveau - angefangen bei der exzellenten Kuchenauswahl am Nachmittag (so gut, dass ich sogar nach einem Rezept gefragt habe). Das Abendessen war ein...
