"These guys are coming out of a natural disaster that has threatened their economy. They rely heavily on tourism and it felt really good to be supporting these lovely people simply by being there. There are signs of difficulty from when you land, but arriving on Iririki Island you see it hasn't been damaged and they are working hard to make the stay enjoyable. The people are laid back and so friendly. We had a great relaxing time. "

"Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family.

Being a cyclists I was happy to read they had loaner bikes. I was disappointed to see the biggest of them were bmx type bikes. Better than nothing though so i checked them out to find some were missing parts, had flat tyres or were broken in other ways so none were safe to ride. Unfortunate,but I guess with the state of the roads bikes break.

Rooms are quite new, spacious and clean. Trent our host was lovely and the tuna sashimi and cocktails were the highlight. I wouldn’t say it’s is a 5 star resort as at times the food was a bit overcooked, our bedroom blind was missing and no aircon (which wasn’t an issue) so windows may be open for bugs to enter. These are minor things and it’s an amazing experience for a night or two as the incredible beach speaks for itself!"

"It was paradise. I relaxed in an instant. The accommodation was perfectly designed so that you had your own slice of the beach and views with no one else in sight. They were equipped with air con and fans, fly screens. As a coconut fell from the tree, staff would open it for you. Could not recommend this place enough. A perfect balance of solitude - you could socialise at the restaurant if you wanted to, superb snorkelling off the beach or a boat trip to one of the local islands whenever you wanted.
