"Went for our anniversary. It was a beautiful property on the water. The only downfall is we didn’t have a designated parking spot for lodge guest. Due to lack of parking had to park down the road and walk. "

"I love this place. I always come here. I’m a local in Reno and I’ve always been happy. It’s great that you don’t have to drive anywhere. You could walk to all the restaurants as well. Staff is so friendly. The rooms are super cute and it’s quiet."

"The amenities are amazing! I will say the staff at times seemed annoyed at some guests asking for change at the coffee shop or help with the right sized shoe at the retail store on-site."

"Excellent location in Squaw Valley. They have a wonderful bike path which travels down to the Truckee River and onto Tahoe City. The Lodge/Lounge was in great condition and had many amenities. The room was clean and spacious."

"What an absolute gem in North Tahoe! We have a home close undergoing renovation and stayed somewhere we’ve driven past for 25 years! So pleasantly surprised! Will definitely refer for overflow visitors in the future!"

"I had a great stay at the Americana. The checkin process was very quick and staff was also friendly upon arrival. The room was very spacious and clean. The room had everything we needed. The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast as there were not many options. Overall, i had a great stay and would definitely come back again. "
"This is a lovely property with (frankly) an amazingly beautiful PARKING LOT! I was in awe of the beautiful Ponderosa Pines left standing majestically throughout the lot!
The property itself has many amenities (pools, hot tub, s’mores fire, private beaches) that made our stay unique and memorable. Thankfully the front desk staffer put us on the 12th floor with beautiful views and relatively quiet surroundings for the number of small families around. There were several places to buy snacks, buy souvenirs or gifts, and eat any meal of the day. "
"I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this room was. Clean, well stocked, amazing view and incredible amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. My check in took less than 5 mins. We never had to leave the block with all the restaurants, shops, and entertainment that is in walking distance. Oh, and free parking, which sounds trivial until you realize how terrible the parking is around the area and how much the other hotels charge you to park. As someone that makes multiple trips to beautiful south Tahoe every year for decades, this hotel is by far the best experience I’ve had so far. I only had 2 complaints, the wrist bad they give you was too small for me to wear so I had to put it in my pocket, and the amount of dog owners that ignore the signs on the beach to keep their dogs off it. Overall, I am already planning to book a week here as soon as I can find availability. "
"The property is well maintained. The staff is very professional, friendly, and accommodating.
My only complaint is that the shower pressure needs to be increased. Low water pressure in the showers made the showers longer to rinse off the shampoo and soap. Other than that, everything was great. "
"The staff is really nice and friendly the breakfast was delicious and you can repeat if you want.
The breakfast staff really friendly, nice and helpful.
Over all is a really good place close to the main street and shops very convenient where is located."
"We enjoyed the stay at the Marriot facilities. My son had fun in the pool. The staff was very kind and accommodating. From the initial interaction with Valet to the front desk and cleaning staff, everyone made you feel welcomed with friendly greetings and a desire to make sure you were enjoying your stay. "
"Great bed, linens were nice, towels were fluffy. The staff was pleasant and helpful at each interaction. Had a great cup of coffee in the lobby for a very fair price.
Had dinner across the street at Jake’s On The Lake, a Tahoe favorite!"
