Excellent
I was there on a Sunday night, so much of the town was closed, including restaurants, but I enjoyed barbecue and beer at Big Fatty's. White River Junction appears to be an artsy town, would like to visit again.

Good
We are in the area frequently. WRJ is close to the highway so easy to get on and off when traveling, plus close to other towns in the area, be it college, tourism, or business needs.

"Bed was more comfortable than home. Dinner at Richardson’s Grill was fantastic.
Breakfast buffet was mediocre.
Room was very nice but bathroom needed updating."
"The inn was marvelous. The inn keeper and her husband the maintenance man were charming and responsive to our needs and kept the place immaculate. The restaurant was dissapointing. Service was terrible, eggs were over cooked. Toast was slathered in butter (I think it was butter). No salt, pepper or any other condiments were on the table and the waitress was no where to be found so we ate the meal as it was getting cold. We did not go back the next day"

"I stayed here while working far from home. It had the comforts of home with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and living space. The staff were helpful in answering my questions and giving recommendations. "
"From the moment we reserved a room to our check out the service was impeccable. The staff and the restaurant personnel treated us with respect and compassion. The room beyond what you would expect from an older facility. The food was excellent and so was the beer from the brewery."
"Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We visited the bar, had a couple of drinks and ate there, the food was delicious and the bartender was very friendly."
"A cozy, nicely decorated, and unique accomodation that was adjacent to both Killington and Pico ski resorts. The rooms and amenities were slightly outdated but they were clean and functional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The large gift shop had a tasteful selection of items."
