"Toilet had been used without flushing, smelled. Check in problematic because entry codes not sent until after arrival. Cipher lock on room had low battery and maintenance arrived without a heads up and needed entry in the evening.

I did not rent a car, there were two shuttle pick-up spots within walking distance. In the evening, shuttle drivers would drop me off right by the property when I gave them advanced notice. "Fantastic place to stay. Amazing sunsets, an outdoor patio to eat breakfast & look at the water. We went to Acadia/Bar Harbor in the morning & it was about an hour drive. Left 6:30 & the park was pretty empty until 11 am. 2nd day explored Schoodic part of Acadia (down the road/close by). Great continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again! "
"Very quiet hotel. The breakfast was very good and had a load of options. The cleanliness far surpassed any of the other hotels we've used this trip. If i had to nitpick and find the smallest thing negative it would be the the entrance on the road. Its horrible trying to make a left turn outta there. Also has a blindspot behind a pole. I pulled right out in front of some old lady i didn't see. Fortunately she still had good reflexs. Afterwards i had to turn around go back to the room to change my underwear then attempt that turn again..."
