"This was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the larger coffee pot, microwave and fridge. Loved the fluffy towels and washrags. Wish there was a light above the sink for putting on makeup and I wish there had been a hair dryer! The fitted sheet kept coming off the mattress! Maybe deep fitted would work better! Very close walk to shops and restaurants. "

"This charming cottage with a front porch looking across a bubbling brook to a small pond with mountains in the distance was such a better option than a chain hotel room with common hallways. It is a bit out of town but you can go into historic Durango for activities and then return here for a peaceful sleep, a pastoral setting and a delightful breakfast with other guests. More room for kids to move around in or go check out the chickens at Chick Inn. "

"We loved our stay at the Victorian Inn. It was reasonably priced, and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and feed us in the morning! The hot tub and fire pit made it easy to visit with other guests, and we genuinely had a wonderful time!"

The owners—a delightful couple—were accommodating and genuinely pleasant, adding a personal touch that made us feel welcome. One of the highlights was spending time on the back deck, which offered stunning views of the mountains and unforgettable sunsets, all accented by the charm of hummingbirds and wild turkeys in the yard. There was one minor drawback: the bedroom floor squeaked noticeably with each step, occasionally waking my wife in the morning. While this didn’t detract from the overall experience, addressing the issue would make future stays even more restful. "
