"This is the only motel/hotel conveniently located on the Marion/Mullins bypass to Myrtle Beach, SC. The exterior is kept neat and clean, the AM breakfast is adequate, the room is clean and the staff were excellent during my stay, July 24-27, room 108. The facility is listed at a 2.5 rating; it is about 40 yrs old now and could use some updating. It also has a faint smell of cigarettes in the carpeted room; even though there is a posting on the front door, smokers did linger close to the entrance. Hopefully, the owners will do a refresh during the fall and winter months to be ready for the spring/summer travelers. "

"Wife and I stayed in a suite with our 5 grandsons. Hotel is very clean and quiet. Safe location. It is located within walking distance of a number of eateries, with others at a close drive. Will definitely stay again."

" I had a great experience at this hotel. The location felt safe, the staff was professional and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. We arrived late at night, and check-in was quick and easy. The parking area was secure, and the overall environment was quiet and relaxing. My family really enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. It was a perfect stop during our road trip. Although pets weren’t allowed inside, we had to leave our small parrot in the car with the windows open, and thankfully everything went fine. A small pet-friendly option in the future would be a great addition. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

"I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Immediately noticed and smelled how clean the room was. I particularly liked the absence of carpet. I never walk around a room without socks or shoes, but felt comfortable doing so here. The bed was comfy. The pool was clean. The TV was even off nice quality. Friendly staff. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at this price point of a stay. 100percent would recommend. - I did not need to go but there are also plenty of restaurants, gas stations, and even a Walmart within walking distance. "

"It was very comforting sleeping in the super clean king bed. The air conditioner was very cold but adjustable. Older property, but well maintained. Hot shower was nice. Fluffy bath towels. The lady maybe the owner was super friendly and congenial. We would go back. very close to I-95 easy in and out."

"The house itself and near by houses on the same street are older but decently kept up, but please do your own research on this area prior to selecting this property. I was in a bit of a hurry on securing a place and this property allowed pets “with an added charge” not listed on the Expedia listing. Not being familiar with any areas surrounding Florence I wish I would have taken the time to properly research. "
