"Check in was easy. Nice area behind the hotel to walk around the lake with some swings. Very calming area. Grocery store nearby to grab snacks. Lodging is a little older but still in good condition"

"Everything was good, the owners were very helpful in anything i needed, the only thing i wish they had coffee in the rooms rather then in the lobby."

"The facilities are very clean, and the owner is extremely friendly. A bit of a jaunt by bike to the nearest convenience store, but that's to be expected in such a quiet place. Highly recommend a visit for some good conversation and quiet evening."

"We were able to check in early in the day so that we could explore the Keweenaw without worrying about a late night check-in. The beds were comfortable with a variety of pillow types. Friendly and helpful staff."

"Pool was cold, but hot tub was amazing. Kids didn’t mind the pool temp with the warm hot tub. Breakfast attendant was wonderful and variety of options was great. Queen bed was worn and hubby and I rolled together. Area was amazing. Would have loved it if not for the bed."

"Not much surrounding the property. somewhat hard to get to with the local road system. got used to it quickly, though. Nice place overall. You have to drive to get anywhere. Nothing much close by."

"Stayed here for 5 nights. Very comfortable, great location. Really nice hotel. There's also a really nice and clean lanudry room that we made use of on our last day. There's almost a full kitchen, just no stove, but a full size fridge and microwave, no pool. The cleanliness, location, price and amenities were outstanding. We would stay here again next time. Its not downtown Houghton, but if we didnt sray herr, we probably wouldnt have visited this area of town. Very short drive to downtown and to mich tech campus."

"Very cute and cozy cabins. Simple. Had all the basics you could need for a weekend trip. We came out of season for some winter hiking and the waterfalls nearby. The guide in the room was informational about where things were and what we could do."
