Walking route takes you through Boston University property. Great walking/jogging/bike path right in front of hotel along Charles River. Upgrade to the river view - it’s worth it to be able to look across at Boston!! Nice places to eat inside hotel as well! Great stay - will look to stay there again!! "
"This was one of our best stays by far on our 30 day road trip in July. Our room was beautiful overlooking the Boston Harbor which was a romantic view at night. We deeply appreciated the convenience of the high-tech set up allowing us to control everything on an iPad. That was a unique experience and one I wish all hotels utilized. The bathtub is a great soaking tub with a TV on the wall and there’s even a place to rest your arms. The shower was nice too. The room was a large size compared to most hotel rooms. "
"Pros: the staff were great, always so helpful. FREE bottled water and a variety of snacks in room, plus iced tea, lemonade, and popcorn in the lobby. Housekeeping was excellent. I stayed several days and my room was immaculate each afternoon when I returned from sightseeing. One cute touch - they change the rugs in the elevator by time of day- good morning/afternoon/evening.
Cons: the carpets/furnishings have seen better days. Some look worn/stained. The bed was too soft for my liking, but might work for others.
Overall, I would definitely stay there again. It may not be the prettiest, but everything else is top notch!"
