"This lodging is the best in town. Clean, comfortable, and refurbished without losing its historical essence. Plus, the price is fair. We stay here whenever in town and we are not camping."

"Great architecture from 1942.
Excellent location in Haines with view of the bay.
The building is being worked on and could use some updating. The bathrooms were very tight. Keep in mind these buildings were designed as Quarters for the officers in WW2. A fun experience."

"Wish we could have stayed here for longer. This cabin was so nice and clean and not what we were expecting, in a good way. The property was beautiful and tuck away its like your own private summer house. "
