"West River House was a pleasant surprise. It has a hostel vibe. The room was clean and the bed / pillows are very comfortable. We were most impressed with the detailed instructions for everything including parking, shower use, check in and checkout. We enjoyed the balcony as well. "We really enjoyed the Hyatt Vacation Club. They did try to get us to go listen to a sales pitch. Had to tell them no a couple times. But that was the only negative. I spent every morning eating breakfast and drinking coffee on our balcony. Absolutely amazing. "
"Clean well appointed rooms. Comfy bed. Solid AC and room was already at 67 when I arrived. Little patio with morning sun. Tea bag style coffee was different. Little hot tub (fits 4 tops). Didn't try the suana - not my thing. "

"Wow! I found this place by chance, but it was thee perfect ideal place for my family and I. Cedar Glen Lodge truly embodies the North Lake Tahoe vive. Staff is very kind but our favorite part of the whole experience, was their garden with available grill and fire pit. We were able to do our very own cooking and meal prepa out there. "This was such a great experience for our family of 5. Two adults and three kids fit perfectly in the bed and the sofa bed. We loved our little cabin. We couldn't leave windows open because of the wildlife ( they had fans), but it was a little warm at bedtime ,but it cooled down.
They had basketball courts volleyball.courts, a rec room with popcorn, towels and board games. So cute ! And the best part it was less than 2 minutes walk to their private beach !
And not to mention very close to Kings Beach, shopping, and local restaurants . We had such a great stay ! "
