"Went up for a wedding and got a good price at the Alpine Inn. Owners are renovating and were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and conveniently located. "

"The hotel is on the river which is nice. We cancelled our stay and were refunded the entire amount because we were under the impression we would have a walk out patio to enjoy the view. Double check your reservation or call ahead if you are expecting this as advertised. Without the patio the room was very small and the bed not great and not worth the high price. "

"This is one of our favorite spots, friendly people, clean inexpensive rooms and right on the main road walkable to shops and dining."

"The owner was very nice and helpful in suggesting where to eat in the area. Thanks to him I had a delicious dinner and a nice walk at a beach in Manistee.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, big and cozy. The area is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. After all, you’re inside a national forest. "

"The location was great for getting to all the areas we love in NW michigan and the resort property itself is AMAZING as always - but the condo is dated, should offer more linens for the stay due to the fact that there is no washing/drying machine available. Just didn't get a good "clean at home" kind of feeling - the vent when you enter good use a good wipe down. It's the first thing you see! "

"Excellent little hotel right in the center of everything Frankfort has to offer. It is next to a theater and a brewery. Just a block from coffee shops, ice cream shops, and cafes. And only 2 blocks from the beach. The place has a unique style and every room is different. Our room was clean, spacious, with a great stone-tile shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were staying the weekend for a friends wedding celebration. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Pylled in, and immediately realized I'd made a mistake. The property is not like the cheerful photos at all. Musty, very small room, too many disappointments to list, but it was clean enough to keep me from leaving. Would not return. "

"We really appreciated how easy check in was. Room was very clean and up to date. The bed was very comfortable too. Only reason for not giving five stars was the size of the bathroom with regard to the shower. "

"We would return to this hotel, next time we’re in the Benzonia area! Staff was attentive in the breakfast room, the room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was hot! "
