"Paje By Night was a great place to stay. Clean room, hot showers, good food, and nice property. Taxi's were available right outside the gate. The staff were very friendly and kind. Note that it is not directly on the beach. They do have a designated area on the beach with a bar and lounging area, but it is about a 5 minute walk. "

"Good value for the price. Especially appreciated the security at the hotel, staff friendliness and the location. Prime location at the beach, very nice swimming pool/sun bed area. Would not recommend eating at the hotel, as the food was very poor. However, there are a number of good places to eat just a short walk from the hotel (Zanzibarista, Delight for pizza, Shanga). Over all, impressed with what we got for the price of the stay. "

"In general Good quality hotel! The term Boutique hotel is a bit overrated though, for this the buffet food and service at the meals is too average. Rooms are nice and good quality but here and there maintenance is partly lacking. Nice Bungalows in a good area with restaurants and beach nearby. Friendly staff and good management. "

"Me and my girlfriend spent time in Zanzibar to celebrate our birthdays. I found Samawa Living as I looking for a nice Place to stay for the week. Booking our room was straightforward and they even supporting with transportation from the Airport and back, which will cost a fee since it is an hour away. Upon checking we were greeted by the host that evening and shown our beautiful room. Also the food was amazing as well. Please not that this a Muslim country for the most part and the don't eat...

"Very friendly staff settled in a beautiful surrounding. Great pool, and everything is so clean. We felt really looked after.
How ever, it said in various sites that there is a beach here, it is, maybe 25 sq meter in total, but with no acces to the sea, there is a very large ref.

"This was our first experience staying on Pongwe beach. The beach isn't comparable to what one gets at Nungwi or similar. It is quite rocky and the tide stays receeded most of the day. The resort was sparsely occupied and therefore very quiet and peaceful apart from Wednesday night when there was loud music until past 3AM at an adjacent property.
The service staff were terrrific and catered for every need of ours without complaint or delay. Upendo, Abdallah, Leila and their teams were excellent...

The free 60 minute massage was amazing.
There is entertainment at every dinner. We saw some really good performances with all guests and staff getting involved in singing and dancing.
I dont have anything negative to say...
