"My son chose this hotel because of swimming pool. However, we learned when we arrived at the hotel that days of the week is divided for men and women. That day was women's day and we learned we are not allowed to use the pool that day but next day. We would stay only one night. So, we had to cancel our reservation. The staff at the reception were helpful but it is not nice to mention that swimming days are divided between men and women on their website."

The receptionist 'Berken' did receive me, and he was kind, and helpful. Because of language barrier it was difficult for me to rotate from one place to another but thanks to him that he did help me out of the box.

However, parking is a significant challenge, especially on weekends, and I would recommend visiting on weekdays if possible. The facility is in need of maintenance, particularly the bathroom, which was not in acceptable condition during my visit. "My partner and I stayed in the king suite, Maridin Room. It was a gorgeously appointed room and the hammam themed barhroom was delightful! The real crowning jewel was the palatial terrace. We felt like royalty being able to relax out there looking over the Mesopotamian plains. The staff were very patient and helpful with us using translation apps, as neither of us spoke much Turkish or Kurdish. While few of them spoke any english, we got along without any trouble. They were very kind! I highly recommend staying here!"

Уборки не было, потом как выяснилось, мы сами должны были попросить убрать и заменить полотенца. В номере было холодно, мы сами настраивали систему для обогрева. Диван в комнате продавлен и сидеть на нем невозможно. Завтрак был хуже, чем завтрак в городе на террасе. Я считаю, что соотношение цена качество совершенно не соответствуют. Мы за 2 ночи заплатили 400$ и ничего не получили за это, ни сервиса, ни уюта, ни качества. "
"The hotel is beautiful and historical however there was only warm water available for showering at 9pm, water was freezing cold or luke warm. The hotel advertisement states they have a laundry service, when I asked the receptionist she advised they did not have a laundry service. We also had to ask for clean towels and the bed to be changed and room to be cleaned. The room which was the Presidential suite 316 was cold on arrival, radiators not on for the duration of our stay, there was air con unit for heating however wasn’t very effective. The porter was very helpful and an asset to the hotel, unfortunately I wouldn’t stay there again. "

Even there was no shampoo provided and bathroom was not tiidy and clean, which is a basic amenity one would expect. Additionally, the air-conditioning system was unreliable and did not function properly, making the room uncomfortable. Parking was a headache with limited spaces and poor management. Overall, I do not recommend staying here."
