"My fault for not double checking on no AC. Had to open window which lead to horrible and constant road noise. In factcwiring is there for the AC but none were installed. Too bad in otherwize a goid property"

"The hotel was a bit difficult to find but was well appointed, except for the absence of a lift. We enjoyed our stay although Saturday night was a little noisy! It is well located for easy access to restaurants, shops and the old town."

"We booked to stay at this hotel through Expedia. We arrived at the hotel to be told that there wasn’t any booking made for us and told by the manager that we had been scammed and if we wanted to stay we would have to pay again, despite showing her our Expedia reservation details and bank statements as proof, she would not accept it. We asked to to contact Expedia but she also refused as she did not speak English. We contacted Expedia to inform them of the situation, they tried to contact the hotel but the number they had was incorrect and the hotel did not respond to their emails. We had to go to the police station to get a statement written from the hotel to state that they did not hold a booking for us. We then to find another place to stay. Expedia refused to refund us as they said it is a non refundable booking, dispute the circumstances. It was an absolute nightmare, so stressful and took most of the day to sort something out. Not great when you are only staying for a short period of time and did not leave us with much time to explore. I have no idea why Expedia are still using this awful hotel but I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!! I can highly recommend the Amasra Ceylin hotel, who were extremely accommodating, rooms were beautifully clean with a sea view and the breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had with homemade produce. If you do not want to have a stressful holiday, AVOID EGE SUIT HOTEL!"

"We made a booking for this hotel more than a month ago. Came here and found out that the hotel is closed, and operations are suspended. No prior information or warning. When we called the hotel number, the person at the other side gave a meagre apology and offered no explanation or help. The hotel is located in a place where there is no taxi or public transport nearby, so we had to drag out luggage more than a kilometre to get to another hotel. And the best part is they take their tariff in advance! I now have the unpleasant task of getting a refund. Stay away!"

"This was a very disappointing experience. We did not end up staying at Emin Butik Otel. We had booked, paid and received confirmation only to arrive and be told by the owner that there was a problem. They had no vacancy. The owner said he had closed the bookings on the websites the hotel advertised through. He said we shouldn’t have been able book it. He could however accomodate us in the hotel across the road that he also owned. It was late in the day and we had few other options. While the small room we ended up staying in had few of the amenities shown on website for Emin Butik it was clean. In the morning I spoke to the owner and said I felt we needed a partial refund. He disagreed and said he had thrown in a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast while adequate was minimal e.g. they ran out of bread. We didn’t want to ruin a perfect 6 week holiday by arguing so we just let things be. This was the worst value for money on our whole trip. We hope this is an exception for this hotel. "
