"The resort was very quiet when we were there but we still had a wonderful relaxing night. Great place to stop over when driving from Chiang mai to Mae Salong. I can't speak for the rooms but the villa was absolutely beautiful. Spacious with a massive terrace to relax on. The grounds are lovely too. Would recommend"

"This hotel is not at all as advertised. There is no spa, massages, etc available on the property at all. There is no hot tub and the pool is cold. There was no one at the bar at any time, and no menus for the “restaurant.” Bugs were pretty bad as well.
There was no hand soap in the bathrooms and ceiling of bathroom was patchy/see through in parts.
There is nothing at all to do in the area, closest things are over 40 minutes away. The shuttles they offer are upcharged at random with no...

"The Roundhouses are super beautiful in a calm area close to the chiang dao cave. It is recommendable to rent a bike, motorbike or car to get around the area but this is easy in the small 'village' nearby. The kind host (susie) is so helpul with everything that your stay will be great for sure. Very recommendable if you search for some calm days and nature. The breakfast was amazing. "

"Extremely beautiful! Comfortable bed, stunning view.
PLEASE NOTE:
Bathroom is outside. It is well-equipped, private, and a fun experience, however, it was very cold at night (January), and the bathroom is shared with mosquitos.
If the bathroom situation isn't a deal-breaker, you MUST stay here!"

"I booked standard rooms but found out there are small rooms (and were designed for accompanied people such as tour guides or drivers). Our rooms are hidden at the backyard and we can't see any view from the room. One of the room we book doesn't even have windows (it's only small air vent inside the room, not really what you can call windows.) You should book other type of rooms in order to get appropriate room type for your vacation (i.e. rooms in bungalow style houses).May be it's because I...

"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! BEWARE!
Had to drive 1.5 hours on a motoscooter back to Chiang Mai at 1:30am because the rooms are infested with GIANT ants in the beds, and hundreds of small ants in the bathroom. They tried to move us to a different room and right when I walked in a giant ant crawled across the pillow on the bed. They offered to place me in a "different area/room", if i paid them more money! They essentially tried to extort money out of me just so I could have a non- infested hotel...

"No Computerized check in! Everything is done on paper! The Hotel is Beautiful except no swimming pool! The mattress was like sleeping on a Rock and my wife and I had sore backs from 1 night! We kept waking up to turn so the blood could flow! The air conditioner was pointed at our bed so we had to shut it off. They need to buy normal hotel mattresses then I will come back. Too bad the place is nice otherwise!"

"Very cool traditional big Thai resort. Amazing huge, rustic style, log cabin bungalows, in excellent condition, over looking ponds, beautiful grounds. Service was kind and friendly. Huge Buffet breakfast Western and Thai stuff. Only negative was the beds we're like concrete. They are set up for bus groups but welcome folks on their own too. Price is good for what you get.."

"The hotel location is perfect. Staff are really friendly. Breakfast was very vast and good. Restaurant in the evening had great food at good prices. The only thing that I didn't like was the pool. It was too small. But it didn't effect me since most of the time we were site seeing. Should visit Pai in the future I would definitely stay here. "
"Natalie at the front desk was so wonderful and helpful. It’s walkable to go to town, I opted to rent a scooter and she helped me arrange for the motorbike rental.
My stay in Pai was wonderful thanks to the accommodations and staff here! "
"Although the rooms were very clean and tidy, I somehow left with bed bug bites. This place was not dirty at all, actually very nice and aesthetically cute, super convenient location. But I did wake up and leave with many bites on my abdomen and ankles that track with bed bugs "
"Pho Rak Nah was absolutely incredible! The jungle bungalow was amazing, clean, and check in was very easy. Clean/filtered drinking water is provided in the main kitchen area! Very secluded, safe, and quiet, and 20-25 minute walk into town/ 5minute scooter ride. Thank you for welcoming us to pai!"
"The basic room had a great view of a little forest. Clean, good wifi, loved the stay, staff was nice. Breakfast is eggs and toast. Free ride to town for bus if needed. Scooter rental nearby."
"The receptionist, Lynn, was an amazing host; she saved my life with an epi-pen and gave great insider tips on Pai!
The bathroom could’ve used a bit of cleaning and refilling but it’s a great stay and the hostel itself is very clean! The location is also perfect as it was 6 mins walk to the night market. "
"Loved the daily breakfast buffet & early AM free fresh fruit delivery. Pool & gym were nice
Grounds were nice Good location. Free shuttle to town but easily walkable "
"This is a beautiful property, paradise! The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again."

"Basic rooms but cute vibe. Small porch with a table and chairs. Wet room was basic - warm water not hot. Pool was very small but nice although no cushions on the loungers. "
"Beautiful resort. The pool was surprisingly cold so we didn’t swim. Beautiful environment and sunset. Also a great cafe and restaurant on site. Only negative thing was we had NO hot water. I was looking forward to a hot shower that night and was disappointed. "
"Beautiful hotel and quiet, just a few minutes from Pai by scooter but very peaceful and quiet, the staff was great as well and a nice pool area for the afternoons."
"Our stay was relaxing and quiet. The views of the mountains from our room and the pool were great! We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and the staff were friendly. Would stay here again"
