"What a great stay at Acacia Premier! I had been staying at a competitor’s hotel not too far from here as I had been loyal to them for over 15 years. But, after they went under new ownership in recent years, and failed to deliver any meaningful change, I decided to try Acacia. I’m so sorry that I’ve waited so long! What a breath of fresh air for Kisumu. Thanks especially to Mary, Wycliffe, Otieno (gym), and Victor for their outstanding, impeccable, purely professional performance. I will absolutely be coming back again and again. "

"Each suite is owned or hosted by a different individual, but all are part of the Ikonia franchise with a manager. The quality of each suite varies significantly and depends on what the host or owner chooses to offer. Some suites have minimal kitchen appliances, while others feature old, torn bed sheets and pillowcases, rock-hard pillows, outdated non-slip-resistant floor mats, and microwaves lacking microwave-safe containers. The food from the restaurant is of poor quality, and even the staff admit that guests typically do not eat there. For properties with more than four floors, there is no elevator; however, safe parking for only four cars total is available. The staff are friendly and say the right words, but lack the resources to offer great service, as they depend on what the host provides. Overall, it is a two-star establishment pretending to be three stars. The location is ideal, just a few minutes' drive from the city center and other attractions. If you are not particular about high quality, it is worth a try."

"Kisumu, Kenya, I enjoyed this place. Great breakfast. Thumbs up. OK, here is a heads up for an American, here an all-inclusive breakfast does not include coffee. Think British, tea is included, however coffee, no. Again, just a heads up, great place though."

"As always, our stay in Kisumu was excellent and welcoming by the staff. Pricey breakfast but very well done and prepared.(2,500 Kshs each). Lovely pastries at the coffee shop, if you are so tempted. Keep it up!!! Will be back, of course"

"The Victoria Comfort Inn is located within walking distance of Obunga and about a 10 min ride to downtown Kisumu. It has a nice conference area which is pleasant for local businss. The staff is superb! We had excellent service both at check in and during all of our meal service (which we ate there every night). It has an expansive menu and even has a small gym. Though the hotel is humble in structure, it's well kept and clean. Great value for the money!"

"The place itself was fine. No issues. A little far from shops. No blame to hotel but another guest had a trouble with car alarm going off a few times through the night. "

"Very bad stay aske for more money on arrival fir no reason then gave up . Shoeed to room told no tv channels also internet not workiing . The next day we ask for room to be cleaned and clean towels . We ask 3 times duringthe day for this. Still.not leaned at 10.30pm gave up.asking . Supposed to stay 3 nights i cancelled the 3rd night still.no Internet. Really not s good stay "
