"When we arrived I had booked for a 1 queen bed and was given 2 double beds , no ice in the ice machine, the fridge was broke and the room smelled of freon, the room also reaked of smoke, the shower curtain smelled very sour and musty, the beds were hard as rocks and there were no stations on the tv, you had to sign into your own info to watch anything. I would not recommend this motel to anyone."

"This is the best hotel/motel we have stayed in on this NS trip. It might not have the exterior charm of the Lunenburg waterfront but it’s so clean and easy to access. Lunenburg is walkable (1km away) if you like walking as well.
No hassles. You get a code texted to you prior to check in and it’s self-managed from there.

"We loved EVERYTHING about this place: Margaret, our host, was warm and welcoming. The accommodations were comfortable. Continental breakfast with home-made goodies was a good way to start the day. And Mahone Bay is one of our favourite destinations in Nova Scotia. "

"The property owners were welcoming and responsive. We were greeted by a onsite staff member who checked us in and showed us to our room. We were pleased to have a unit at the back of the property. Although there was no view of the bay, this was off set by having a fireplace, small kitchenette area, and a patio area. We were very pleased with the property. "

"The Fisherman's daughter was a lovely spot to stay in Mahone Bay. You are greeted upon arrival by the owner Cathy and she takes you on a tour of the property. Cathy is very knowledgeable about Mahone Bay and things to do.
I highly recommend staying here. The bonus is her chocolate lab Murphy who is a very good boy and will hangout with you outside. "
