They arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport, took us to the pier, and even had a ferry waiting to bring us directly to their dock. The hospitality we received was beyond anything we expected. Every member of the staff made us feel truly at home. Though the restaurant typically caters to Western tastes, Sambo and One went out of their way to prepare special Khmer dishes just for us—showcasing their own take on flavors we know and love. One of the most memorable moments was a private beachfront dinner they set up just for our group—thoughtful, romantic, and unforgettable. They also arranged scooters for us to explore the island, had paddle boards and kayaks available, and even took us on a guided trip to local villages so we could experience the heart of the island and its kind, welcoming people. The infinity pool was perfectly situated with ocean views and easy access from every room. Our stay at The Secret Garden was filled with moments of joy, connection, and beauty. It was more than just a vacation—it was an experience that touched our hearts. Leaving was the hardest part."

"The staff were amazing they knew it was our anniversary so upgraded us to a beach front room. The location was amazing right on the beach. 1 minute walk from the pier. The resort was very friendly and comfortable. Swings and hammocks were everywhere. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only downside was the WiFi wasn’t the strongest. Would definitely return. "

"This is a nice peaceful resort. Only 20 minute walk along beach to bars/restaurants. The Staff here are very helpful and pleasant. The beach in front is kept very clean by the resort. Breakfast good. Free use of kayak and paddleboard. We took a dome room on the beach. All the rooms have nice little patios. Good housekeeping. Would come back."

"Hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep in. Bathroom is crammed in so you have to stand over the toilet to shower. Water doesn’t drain properly so every time you use the toilet you have to walk through a puddle. Sheets and towels were clean, although you do have to pay a deposit to get a towel at all. Air conditioning was good. "

"La Passion doesn’t have Management that show Passion! The staff are trying there best but with no support from management that you never see, they have no chance of turning this property into what it should be. Left at the pier known one to help us with our bags, I had to walk, even though notified of our arrival. It’s 3 star not 4, not enough sunbeds, sunbeds broken, all the cabana beds are broken, not enough beach/pool towels for customers, rubbish left in bins overflowing for our entire 5 day stay, no security so anyone can effectively come in. Breakfast is basic, they cannot cook eggs. There isn’t enough staff so everything is slow. I really want this property to succeed. If management cared for their staff and the property these things could be fixed very quickly. The staff need help from management. I like the rooms, the cleaning team in the rooms do a great job. The staff are all very friendly and nice and doing their best. For the price point I would consider other properties until the management sort out the problems they have been told about time and time again… "

"This was a perfect island get away. The staff was exceptional. The owners were involved. More like a family affair with a wonderful community feel. Over the Holidays they organized games in the restaurant to include everyone (I was solo and never felt left out). I even had a medical issue and the owner and a local pulled me aside and gave me some excellent and very timely information that saved me from some real problems. I extended my stay even longer, which was lucky as they were booked out all the other days."
