"It’s very unique jungle book could have been written here me and the wife had a air b and b and it was terrible so we left it to here for 1 night and one night only arrived at 3 pm and left the next day at 9 am to the Hilton. It was a great spot for 1 night ! The rooms are a bit older and assuming since it’s in the jungle feeling in the trees along the ocean it’s very humid it had a bit of a musty smell but was still perfect for the night breakfast was for 2 meals in the am and 1 letre of coffee trout to took in am was around 5200 xpf food for breakfast was not bad at all Beacon eggs etc The steak place is just up the road you can go eat was great !! The best part of this place is 100% ocean morning view and or ocean view in general almost right across from the picnic island of Moorea , and not far down from coco beach, you can rent a kayaks or paddle boards and head down to both islands from here The water was very clean you can see everything too to bottom in the area tons of fish we had a good time for the night it’s a great place to transfer Nice people clean room for the most part but a bit musty we had the lowest end room they had for the night left. "I came to this place because Fare Maheata which In paid until 31st made me feel uncomfortable…a very beautiful place… not tidy with a rude manager Si I left early and it was non refundable Vaianae has a very comfortable room and a great kitchen… it is very well kept and it is a great beautiful area with mountains and garden… not a good besch. It is great for those with a car and who like to cook and a quiet relaxing environment The owner snd Mother are very helpful. There is a nice supermarket near and they have bikes for the guest. I enjoyed this place. Í detested Fare Maheata… noisy no kitchen where to cook. "I highly recommend this hotel. All of the staff were fantastic and are just wonderful. The cleaning lady’s husband is a fisherman. We bought a big tuna fish from him. They helped us prepare the tuna and cook it together. We shared the tuna with other hotel visitors. It was the best tuna :). There were also kayaks on-site that we can use. The room was super clean and organized. We will come back again. Thank you for a fantastic stay."

"We spent 5 nights at niu beach hotel, this property was nicely decorated, clean and new, the studio spaces are well thought out for 2. We found it very helpful having a kitchenette for when we couldn’t book in at some of the busier local restaurants, and a small supermarket just a bike ride away. The kayaks were fun, and it was nice to snorkel straight from the beach. We were told the area was known for turtles, but they were elusive for us. The staff were very helpful and kind. The local tours that we took would pick us up from the hotel. Speaking french will help you in Moorea, but is definitely not required. "

"Where do I begin do review this stay? In so many ways it was a stay of a lifetime. Mark’s Place is beautiful. Each bungalow is unique in design and amenities. Our bungalow had lots of windows and large glass patio door which led to a large deck with outside furniture. Our bungalow did not have toilet or shower contained within, but we did have private facilities directly across from our unit. The bungalows are not air conditioned, and the first couple of nights were warm. If needed Mark will bring you extra fans to be more comfortable. Mark was an awesome host. He provided us with great recommendations of things to see and do. On site he has kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment to rent for the day or for your entire stay. On the property there are 5 cats, 3 dogs, and 2 rabbits. The animals are frequently around, but never a problem. They will be as present as you want them to be. I would love to return to Moorea and once again stay at Mark’s Place . My dream would be a family and friends reunion there. I’m "
