"Great place"

"The property was very well maintained. There was plenty of shade trees in and around the pool area. Check-in was very simple, parked our very large SUV behind the gate which made us feel safe. We walked around the area for dinner and felt safe. We did eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant and was very delicious. The Eggs and Omelet were some of the best we have ever had! The staff all around made us feel comfortable. Please stay at this gem of a hotel!"

"My family stayed here for 2 nights in July and loved our stay. Right from the start upon booking, reception was in communication with us to inquire about how they could help us with our stay. My kids loved the pool and we all appreciated the comfortable beds, the safety of the gate, and the ease of transportation assistance for getting where we needed to go. It was even more delightful to receive a loaf of coconut bread with a handwritten note when we arrived, a truly considerate detail."

"One South Place Hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Belize City. My wife and I could not speak more highly of this Hotel. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated on the waterfront. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. "The staff was wonderful, they arranged transfers from Water Taxi to hotel and staff pickup us up and took us across the river on a boat. I believe we were the only 2 on site as it was off season she still made us bkft the next day. Oh she also arranged dinner bring brought to us. Jus make sure you take you mosquito spray."

"Lovely hotel very close to the water taxi and within the area for tours to pick you up at the hotel. The staff is extremely nice and hospitable and the room was clean with shower amenities and a solid ac unit. There are two patios to sit on that overlook the river and there is coffee in the lobby in the morning. There are plenty of places to eat right near the hotel as well as a small grocery store across the street for water, etc…. I am a solo woman traveler and I felt very safe in this area and at the hotel. Great affordable option in Belize City, I highly recommend:)"

"Our stay at Jovilee Hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel is nice, safe and clean and has self parking on site. There is no restaurant in this hotel but there is an excellent chinese restaurant across the street and they deliver to your hotel room. The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We recommend the Jovilee Hotel and will stay there again when we return to Belice."

"The hospitality "

"The hotel had very little to no amenities. They had filtered water in the community kitchen. The room had a refrigerator and cable tv. The bed was comfortable. It's in walking distance to the ferry for caye caulker and San Pedro. They had a community refrigerator and microwave in kitchen. Staff were nice and helpful. Limited places that offer delivery for food. "

"I arrived after office was closed and they communicated properly and made sure I had the code to my lock box to get in my room . Was lovely and peaceful and a great stay . Will definitely be staying again "
