"We had a little hiccup with the email providing the check-in info, but once we called it was quickly resolved. The room has been redecorated nicely, with a super comfy bed and cold A/C. Right next to the farmers market, and a short walk to downtown Hilo.

"Love this little gem of a place. Have stayed here twice over the past year in two different rooms. The bed could use an upgrade, it was a little too soft and the pillows small. Besides that, it is thoughtfully stocked and wonderful grounds. The views are amazing!"

"Good price and clean. Disappointed that there was no place to sit and work on my computer. No desk or table to sit at and work. Note that this cottage is right under the flight path of and right next to the Hilo airport. So if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs."

"Very dated, our room was clean, (musty odor) and location to Volcano Park was very close. Breakfast was great and host was very nice. The property really needs to be overhaled, window screens and windows need to be cleaned, new carpet on front steps replaced, mold on the outside of building, a paint job for sure is needed. Pictures on the website really need to be updated.

"This has been one of the most special places I’ve ever been to. The sounds of the forest at night are surreal and can touch your soul. I’ve only spent one night at the cabin but I will never forget my time here.
The cabins are super cute, clean, and comfortable. The short path to the lodge with bathrooms is marked by some torches on the ground at night. The sky cleared up in the middle of the night so I could enjoy the stars while walking to the lodge. AMAZING."
