We walked around the nearby lake; got some restful sleep; and had an excellent breakfast the following morning. Then an easy drive to our kayaking trip."

"We stayed in the Grand Room (last room available) and it had unexpected extras including a dry sauna, nice sheets and comfy bed and pillows, a rack for hanging swimsuits, small fridge, and keurig. The outdoor pool is heated to 81F and has a slide and diving board; because of the operating hours (10 am to 9 pm) we couldn't take advantage of it. The owners put a lot of thought and care into the breakfast provided and the breakfast/sunroom is very pleasant. "
