"This is a nice hotel in an area with rather few options, and well located for heading to or from the Lofoten or further north using the Bognes ferries. There are also activities here for families with children.

"The worst stay I have had in Norway. There was no TV in the room, no soap, almost no toiletpaper and only one towel. The representative was very rude, never experienced anything like that before."

"Truly wonderful guesthouse with exceptionally accommodating staff and ownership. Would recommend to any one of my family and friends. Especially grateful for waiting for our late arrival. "

"This is basically a really nice hostel-like place. Very small room, shared baths - nicely outfitted - and a very comfortable shared area with cooking facility."

"The old wooden warehouse has been lovely restored. It is an extremely charming setting and the staff was helpful and easygoing.
The room was very comfortable, with dark curtains to allow a good sleep (midnight Sun), ans comfortable traditional bunk beds.
The common kitchen and living room was perfectly set, with a charming view over the harbour."

"We had a wonderful stay! Starting our trip in an authentic rurbruer was great for our family. Our room was cozy and plenty of space for everyone. My only complaints are there are no blackout curtains (we were there during the midnight sun so sleep masks are necessary), and there wasn’t a lot of hot water for showers. Our family of 5 could not all shower fast enough to get warm showers. Everything else was great. "

"I stayed for 1 night and found the accommodation satisfactory for that time, I am not sure I'd want to stay longer. I thought the cabin was a little tired looking and could do with some updates. I stayed in much nicer places elsewhere in Lofoten. Breakfast was OK although the coffee machine was broken. The location was good though."

"We stayed in room 221, a large corner room which had lovely views to two sides.
Breakfast fantastic.
Hotel is ideal for the Hurtigruten ship and also the Arctic Route Bus. "

"Room and hotel was nice but it was July and the sun is out all the time Andy the room was boiling, with the sunlight and the heat it made sleeping well a challenge. I would imagine any other time of the year in Norway would be fine"

"It was a very relaxing and welcoming environment. Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are kind and hospitable and the breakfast was scrumptious and the best breakfast we had on a month long Europe trip."

"We booked two bedroom oceanfront cabin which got a very nice view. The cabin is clean but kitchenette facility is a bit short (e.g. cover is missing for pot).
We don’t expect rooms are actually in the loft. So it may not be a good choice for those carrying large luggage as it is difficult to carry to luggage to go up to the rooms.
Staff are very nice and helpful.
Hotel restaurant is cozy with good breakfast.
Overall speaking, we are satisfied with the stay.

"This accommodation is appropriate for younger travelers in search of a hostel. Avoid if that is not in line with your travel style or you’re not interested in listening to large groups of merry revelers drinking and singing loudly from their overcrowded rooms.
The check in experience is the most concerning aspect of this accommodation. Buried behind a “check in instructions” link in your Expedia booking, it will tell you that there is no on-site staff and that you will receive your check in code via text—we never received a text and it took 4 attempts to reach them via phone (at a number pulled from google maps since they do not have a valid phone number in their Expedia listing). Once we were provided our room number, we found the door unlocked without the key required to secure the door.
We wound up booking the last available room in the surrounding area under duress via phone, then drove 30 minutes to our new accommodation. "

"We used the Nordis Apts as a jumping off point for a Backroads hiking trip with 2 of our adult kids. There was a living room that was comfortable as well as two bedrooms. It was perfect for our needs and we wouldn’t hesitate to use it again. Very preferable to staying in a hotel when traveling with family. "

"Truly wonderful stay - would love to return! Highlights include the sea views from our cabin, Lofotspa experience under the midnight sun and the cabin decor - local books and art. "
"I really enjoyed the included breakfast- the best I've ever had! The variety of food and quality was very impressive as was the friendly staff. Our room was spacious and had a nice view of the harbor."
"Awesome location - so good I went back twice on same trip. Stayed in two types of accommodation and both were outstanding. Great value and so close to everything. Restaurant quality is excellent, breakfast could maybe be a little more expansive. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, will be back "
"Very clean room with spacious bathroom. Heating in both worked very well. Excellent convenient location across the road from the main ferry terminal (for the Hurtigruten and Havila coastal voyages) and Airport Express Bus stop. Local bus stops, supermarket, shopping mall with pharmacy, Tromso's pedestrian high street (Storgata) and northern lights tour meeting points are all within 5 minutes walk. My arrival was delayed by 17 hours due to the last minute cancellation of 2 long haul connections by the airline but the hotel held my room booking for me when I messaged them en route. The included buffet breakfast was excellent! Andy at the reception desk was very kind and nice when I finally made it to check-in at 12 midnight. He told me where I could walk along the waterfront to see the northern lights. After an exhausting and unexpectedly stressful 45 hour journey and 4 flights, it was a welcome relief for check-in to go so smoothly. Note: Photos on the hotels.com and official hotel website showed the double standard rooms have sea views but this is not the case. Room 728 has a slightly obstructed city view. "
