"It was great to wake up to bird song instead of traffic noise, and almost everything I needed for my 4-day stay was there--even coffee and filters for the coffeemaker, which I didn't use because I brought my own, and dish detergent, a sponge, towels, etc. The shower control was very hard to pull out to increase water pressure, and the area rug in the front/bedroom seemed not to have been vacuumed in a while, as I discovered because I forgot my yoga mat. Other than that, everything was neat,...

"The hotel exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean with all needed items, linens, fridge, microwave, coffee. The breakfast met expectations. The fitness room had the basics of what I needed to workout.

"Fun place to stay. Very comfortable but don't expect the normal room layout. If creaking floors bother you, ask for a room on the highest floor. The building is old with original flooring. That said, the little restaurant is superb. The cook is great and as she is the wait staff so is the staffing. There are places to sit and read or look out the windows at the views. The campus is quite lovely. It's history will interest many. "
