"The place is small and quaint. Very clean. The bed just sucked me in and i had an awsome nights sleep. The manager was awsome. Had awful problem getting the money i paid to Hotels.com to pay the hotel. Was able to get part paid and i had to pay the rest. Hotels.com owes me money. The next person that was checking in had the same problem but worse."

"I love staying here. It is in a pretty country setting, yet convenient to where we want to be. They have easy, no fuss, check-in and out. Just go to your room when you get there and it's ready. Leave when you're ready. The little store and bar are nice."

"The room was spotless, beds were comfortable with both soft and firm pillows, and breakfast was great with warm cinnamon rolls, eggs, and pancakes. This has been our best stay anywhere in Boone in 3 years. "

"Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet. We didn't expect to wake up to snow and feel like temp of 7 degrees, but the cabin was warm, cozy, and dry. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back! Thanks for the memories Bear Cabin!"

"Amazing staff, great location, and a beautiful view of the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying here. I traveled alone for a short while, and this place was my favorite without a doubt. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and the bar was also really nice. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance. "

"The hotel was in a good location to explore the area. Only negative thing was the breakfast options. We stayed for 3 nights and got biscuits and gravy twice. No potato at all and only had protein once. Will stay again but will plan to eat out for breakfast "

"Only stayed for one night since we were driving through, but would definitely stay again for a few nights. Only a few minute drive to downtown Blowing Rock and just of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Beautiful and cozy, our kids loved it."

"Second visit here…friendly folks, beautiful surroundings, comfy room, just off the AT. Breakfast (and the “Kitchen”/food truck) is as good as you’ve heard…AWESOME. We’ll be heading there again!"

"I was great to have a kitchen, going out to eat after hiking all day is exhausting. AC would have been nice but the weather was cool enough for just a fan."
