Cuzion (Indre) Château de Bonnu. Le château de Bonnu faisait partie d'un système de défense qui longeait la Creuse. L'origine de l'édifice serait une tour à signaux qui servait de relais entre les forteresses de Crozant, Châteaubrun, la Prune au Pot, Éguzon. On sait très peu de chose sur les premiers propriétaires de cette petite forteresse édifiée aux XIIIe et XIVe siècles. A partir du XVe siècle, parmi les propriétaires, on trouve : En 1439, Marguerite Remironne qui est veuve de Guillaume Vincent, seigneur de Bonnu. En 1613, Françoise de Poyenne (Poïenne), veuve de Jean Ajasson, offre un bout de terrain pour que le curé fasse construire une chapelle à Bonnu. Jean et Françoise auront trois enfant, une fille et deux garçons. Le cadet, Henri Ajasson héritera de la seigneurie de Bonnu (Bonhus). En 1768, Charles de Maussabré. Au 17ème siècle, la forteresse est rendue "habitable", par le percement de nouvelles fenêtres, des toitures qui recouvrent les chemins de ronde, les fossés qui sont rétrécis et le pont-levis qui est remplacé par un pont dormant en pierres rendant l'accès plus facile. Le donjon est également réduit de hauteur. Aux XVIIIe et XIXe siècles, le château est une simple propriété agricole. En 1906, une famille lyonnaise, les époux Sérullaz, achète le château. Henri Sérullaz entreprend d'importants travaux sous la direction de l'architecte Trolliet : Les toitures et les planchers sont rénovés, les douves qui étaient devenues des jardins potagers sont recreusées et remises en eau. La tour nord est reconstruite. Les hourds qui équipaient le sommet du donjon sont enlevés et remplacés par un toit. Les travaux dureront une vingtaine d'années. La soeur d'Henri Sérullaz était l'épouse du poète Maurice Rollinat*. Son fils, artiste peintre et conservateur du musée du Louvre, continue à entretenir la propriété. En 2002, les héritiers décident de vendre le château. Un an plus tard, la famille Chappaz s'en porte acquéreur et entretient depuis les bâtiments et les jardins avec beaucoup de goût. Le poète Maurice Rollinat était le fils de l'avocat François Rollinat qui fut député de l'Indre à l'Assemblée Constituante de 1848 et ami de George Sand. Clerc de notaire à Châteauroux, puis à Orléans, il se monte à Paris en 1867, sur les conseils de George Sand. Maurice Rollinat qui jouait également du piano, se produisait régulièrement au célèbre cabaret parisien le "Chat Noir". Il y chantait ses poèmes (et ceux de Baudelaire), en musique. Le 19 janvier 1878, Maurice Rollinat épouse Marie Sérullaz à Lyon. Il a 32 ans et elle, 23. Après un voyage de noces en Italie, le couple s'installe à Lyon dans la famille de Marie. La vie de province ne tarde pas à ennuyer le poète, et il convainc sa femme de quitter Lyon pour Paris. Maurice, à Paris, reprendra ses habitudes noctambules. Il meurt à Ivry en 1903 et est inhumé dans le cimetière Saint-Denis de Châteauroux. En justice de paix. Recueil "Paysages et paysans" (1899).
