"Was an absolutely amazing hotel! Such historic charm combined with modern conveniences. The AC in this hotel was the best AC I’ve experienced in Europe! Such a great location in the center of town. Short walk to the harbor, the train station, and all the town sights. Great restaurants and patios all around. It’s a €75 taxi or uber from the airport to this hotel, but there is a bus that will take you and drop you off a short distance to the hotel for €10 cash only. I recommend staying here!"

"Had a wonderful experience with Hôtel Flor, the owners were very receptive and welcoming, even when I was running late (due to car rental delays at the airport). They speak a little bit of Italian and English too which was very helpful. The hotel itself is conveniently located, off the main square in Saint Florent. Rooms are a great size with all the basic amenities required and AC. Very clean hotel overall and they have onsite & off site parking available too(must inform them ahead of the trip). It’s a safe and secure hotel. Would highly recommend if you don’t want to stay out of town."

"Reception closed at 7:00 and we didn’t get there until 10:00 because of car problems in Bastia. They came in after hours on a holiday to check us in. They were very friendly and helpful. There is a little market and boulangerie right down the road that is so good. "

"The room was not huge, but clean with a comfortable bed. Reception was polite and very easy.. The hotel looks kind of isolated when you arrive, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within 200 to 600 meters in pretty much any direction. The hotel is very nice and Bastia was a really fun place."

"It was a pleasant change to stay in a smaller hotel that had a family feel about it, as opposed to a large soul- less corporate hotel. The staff were friendly, pleasant and courteous. My room was very nicely decorated and filled out, and the en-suiute was spotlessly clean and looked as it it had been recently installed. I also had the benefit of a terrace that I could sit out in. The hotel was very convenient for walking in to Macinaggio that has numerous bars and restaurants to be enjoyed and there is a really safe swimming beach just north of marina. "Our first room was disgusting. The AC unit leaked, wallpaper peeling off the walls, the door paint was coming off, and the room and bathroom looked nothing like the pictures. Once we complained we were given a junior suite which was as nicer, but still not great. The bed was falling in like a cardboard box. On top of all that, not once did they ask for identification, nor did they provide a code to get back into the building after 10. Stay anywhere else. "
