Overall the hotel is a little tired and old fashioned, breakfast was limited with chargable extras but service was good. Bar service on the terrace was average. Lake view room with terrace but the divider to the next room as tacky"

The hotel is in prime position for lake access and for strolling into town. Gardens, pool area outside, indoor pool and spa facilities were all excellent and well maintained. "Really enjoyed this hotel. Have a nice bar that you can also access from outside. Beautiful beach and pool area. It is about a 12 minute walk to the ferry. And sometimes it can be slightly noisy. My neighbor kept me up fighting with her boyfriend. Finally called down to the desk and they had it resolved in less than 5 minutes. My friends also got their laundry washed by hotel. So that was a great service. Lots of cruise liners (Viking) use that hotel. Again quite beautiful. "
