This is one of my most precious photographs from my time at Snowy River Camp, where I worked for several months.

On days off, we were lucky enough to be able to take the horses out for long rides in the valley. We would set off with packed lunch, which we ate in the middle of nowhere under a tree, with the horses grazing and dozing off by our side. This shot was taken at that time: Taffy, patiently waiting until we finished our food, the landscape reflecting in his glistening eyes.
