"We loved our stay at Rosevears Hotel. The room was modern and exceptionally clean. Communication for afterhours check-in and the process for this was easy. There's not a lot of space in the rooms once you add in two medium sized suitcases, but we managed. There is ample on-site free parking which is great. There is a short uphill walk to the rooms so a suitcase with wheels makes this easier (it is a wooden duckboard style walkway). We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant on site - with excellent service. Oh, and the hot chocolate sachets in our room were delicious so enjoy those!"

"Wonderful experience at Tranquilles. Friendly service from Bev from the moment I checked in and during my 2-day stay there. Comfortable bedding and clean room and facilities. Bev is an amazing hostess - she catered for the birthday function I attended at Tranquilles, serving delicious Thai food as well as the amazing birthday cake. There were great choices for breakfast and the jams/marmalade served were also home-made. Definitely recommend and would stay at Tranquilles on my next trip to Port Sorell."

"Georgia and Peter are wonderful hosts. Our room was so comfortable and included everything you'd need for self catering. Loved the freshly baked bread and loose leaf tea. An easy walk into town. Deloraine Espresso makes the best coffee and we enjoyed our meals at The Empire Hotel."

This property is a great place to stay to visit Platypus House, Beaconsfield Mine Museum and Sea Horse world.
Stayed in the Executive Suite and it was stepping back into the era when built. The room was huge and included a lounge area, dining area and very modern and clean bathroom.
The owners have revamped the decor to the era and ensure that you enjoy your stay. The host very, very welcoming, provided a lot of information regarding the places to visit in the area and explain restaurant options in the local area.
The area is quiet, very comfy bed and very clean. Includes a verandah at the back of the hotel to soak up the sun.
A continental breakfast was provided in the room and very private.
Great place to relax and chill out.

"On the day of check-in I contacted the property for check-in instructions and got a reply saying my booking had been cancelled over a month ago, without me having been notified. When contacting hotels.com, I was told this was not correct and that according to their records, my booking had not been cancelled. I am not sure whether this is the fault of hotels.com or the property, but in any case this is extremely unprofessional and very unconvenient for us as we were left without accommodation for the night. I had already paid for the booking and am still waiting for the refund."
