"To start check in took time because there was a confusion with the payment. A group of students were staying in the hotel so there was a lot of noise and the pool area was dirty. In general, the hotel needs updating and the food was well cooked but of poor quality. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly especially Adriana in the restaurant. Location was also great. "

"La Rocona is a lovely property in a great location. We stayed in a standard room in the main building, what seems to be an old masia. The lobby is beautiful as is the adjacent terrace that houses the restaurant. The beach is a 2 minute walk.
Staff was welcoming and pleasant, room was clean and comfortable, though a bit noisy because of the acoustics of the lobby. The downside is the poor engineering in the bathroom. The floor of the shower is badly constructed and the water will flow right across the bathroom and into the bedroom. Really poorly designed. Also, the WiFi is very slow, but we were there for the beach, not the WiFi!
We had a great lunch in the restaurant, the food was excellent as was the service. I highly recommend the Racona and next time we will ask for a different room!"
"When booking the bungalows, for the studio accommodations, the picture represented the unit having twin beds. When we arrived, the unit had one double bed. Two of our friends were with us and needed twin beds in the studio unit. The management said it depends on availability for twin beds. We needed to switch our friends to the standard bungalow since it had a sofa bed in the living room and a double bed in the bedroom. If you require twin beds in a studio unit, it would be best to confirm that before it’s too late to cancel. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay."

The hotel was a great base for us and allowed us to enjoy the surrounding area and come back again to the amenities of the hotel.
We enjoyed the hotel, spa and pool. The food was great and catered to Vegan and Vegetarian diets. "

Only thing I missed was a robe, would be nice to get out of the shower into the air conditioning and there was no price list for the items on minibar so when we checked out I asked about that and they said the staff should have told us they were complimentary, shopping centre just downstairs with loads of portion for food and shopping, including gym, there are free parking spaces just outside the hotel which we used for 2 days and it was fine. Valenbisi stations at the hotel door as well. No complaints here. "

Expensive to park at twenty bucks per night but they offer a complimentery breakfast whi h is absolutely fantastic and more than makes up for it. Full hot English with bacon, to order eggs, sausage, beans... well, anything you could imagine is on the buffet and, being so.ewhat of an afficianado of the "breakfasting experience", I would reccomend it. The resteraunt staff are so, so friendly and accomadating and cannot do enough for you. I had a fantastic view of the golf course and could also see my motor car from the balcony, which is lovely, so it was overall a lovely place to stay."
