"Usual mass accommodation hotel, however to our shock, the room was big, clean and the bed was massive. Reception were very helpful, with a bowl of jelly sweets on the counter. A couple of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Plenty of free parking. "

"This beautiful hotel, formerly a family home, is owned and run by the loveliest couple. Charming, friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful and the view from our room included a very full apricot tree, the fruit of which was part of the delicious breakfast we enjoyed in the back garden. Would return here if we are in St. malo again."

"Wonderful stay in Dinan - wished we stayed another night! It’s not easy getting to the hotel via the tiny narrow streets, and Google maps will lead you astray. But it’s all worth it. We parked under the bridge and used the app to pay. The room was huge and very confortable. Delicious breakfast as well. "

"We stayed at this hotel last time we were in Dinard a couple of years ago and we enjoyed it so much we returned. The hotel is in a fabulous historic building right by the beach and an easy walk into the town centre. The reception staff were very welcoming and so enthusiastic explaining the interesting history of the building and its past occupants. The room was excellent with loads of room and a beautifully appointed bathroom. Everything was clean and sparkling. Parking is in a separate building just a few steps for the main building. Dinard itself is just gorgeous... with a fabulous beach, lots of great little independent shops and restaurants."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Brit Hotel. Conveniently situated away from the busy traffic behind a tractor store. Surrounded by lovely green lawns. The rooms were comfortable with real glassware and coffee mugs. We appreciated this touch as it is unusual for a short stay hotel."

"Great trip. The staff were so lovely. The area was very quite but it was loud when our neighbours got in - it sounded like they were showering in our room! Not a big problem though it was a lovely friendly stay."

"Booked semi water view with balcony Picture on website shows beach front This was not directly infront of hotel property. Tide comes in and out it is quite spectacular. Service very abrupt Restaurant staff below knew more about room booking than desk staff We speak both French and English We did check in between the 3-6 allotted time Area is very beautiful Hotel is centrally and week situated for walks and boat crossings Parking to drop off luggage very inconvenient as it is a busy walking area. We did find parking 10 minutes away and discovered beautiful views on walk back to hotel. GPS very useful. "

"We stayed 2 nights at the end of August. We had a beautiful and comfortable room at one of the gatehouses. The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned. The breakfast was all self service. The quality of the breakfast was excellent but it would have nice to have someone explain that you have to make your own coffee (the coffee machine was well away from the breakfast buffet, almost at the kitchen. The staff at the breakfast could have been a bit more friendly to be honest. The hotel has a beautiful bar and terrace overlooking the sea and we had a lovely glass of wine there after our arrival. We didn’t try the restaurant as the menu was not so suitable for us but the bar did offer some snacks. Unfortunately on our second evening (or actually already late afternoon) the bar had absolutely horrible techno party with dj from 4:30 until 9:30pm. There were hardly any customers in the bar but blaring noise that was really irritating. I am a professional musician and wouldn’t mind music in general but this was just infantile computer generated techno with the same thumbing beat for 5 hours. Horrendous!. As mentioned our room was at a gatehouse which was about 100m from the main house and the bar. It must have been unbearable at the main building. There was no prior information about the this techno party otherwise we would have stayed away and had dinner elsewhere. "
