"Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "

"Absoulety gorgeous hotel, food, service was incredible and staff were so welcoming warm and professional. Other than the spa lady this morning around half 10 I wasn’t sure of her name, however myself and my husband were having a swim before we checked out at 11 and the spa was empty and we were laughing and told to keep the noise down in quite a rude manner. I found it inappropriate as no one else was using the facilities and pool or spa at the time and we were the only ones there I appreciate keeping the noise to a minimal level for others to relax and we were very curtious and conscious of this. It was rather patronising and rose to end the experience. However the spa lady prior the day before and in the morning up until 10.30 was very warm and welcoming offering beverages and going above and beyond to ensure a satisfactory stay! Thanks so much we’ll be coming again"

"The customer service is extraordinary. We also got lucky and managed to play a twilight round of golf on our arrival evening. I lost my Apple Watch on the course but thanks to the extraordinary assistance from the reprint at the Manor House, the shuttle bus driver and George from the golf shop we managed to get it back before it was dark. The restaurant staff was also exceptional.What a lovely place and lovely people."

"Beautiful hotel. I paid extra for a deluxe double room, which was lovely overall. However, one downside—never mentioned during booking or at check-in—was that the room didn’t have an external window. Instead, it faced the bar area, so there was no natural light in the room."

"Lovely over night stay enroute to Porthcawl for the Golf. Smart hotel in good location. Breakfast available but with Greggs & McDonald’s next door had a few options. No air conditioning- so it it was a hot night not sure how the room would feel as if you opened window it was noisy from road but the room had a fan. Nice place to stopover or stay longer if exploring the area. "

"Our room was really spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bed itself was huge. There is a restaurant/ bar attached which served nice drinks and had a nice seating area outdoors. The staff were very welcoming and checking in and out was easy. We stayed in this hotel as we were attending a concert in the Principality Stadium. It was the perfect location for this as it was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel."

"After a 6 hour drive we arrive at rush jour to a lovely receptionist who instantly made us. Smile, the room was very clean and functional with a small but comfortable double and a single, we slept very well it was perfect for what we needed it was hot but the fan provided really helped "

"Il start with the bad bit.i waz travelling on my own & was very tired & hot i had booked this hotel because it said it had free parking. After driving around in circles for 20/30 mins i tried to ring hotel no answer i tried about 20 times by now i was so upset and wanted to go home.i found a place to park & walked to the hotel. The lady/owner was lovely explained how to get to carpark. SO my suggestion is for that to be on the booking forms.my room was amazing it was spotless bed so comfortable. There was one problem that the people useing the shared shower room was righf next yo my room the banging was so annoying & i have ptsd so not great also people dont seam to be able to shut a door without banging it.if maybe the wall next to the shower room was soundproofed it would realy help. To be honest its not realy the host thats at fault just shellfish people. "
