"This is an old, dated simple hotel. The room was okay, the pool was okay, the grounds were a bit sloppy.
It has an excellent location and for the right price I would stay here again. I personally do not feel the room is worth more than $150 per night before fees and taxes even during high season. "

"We attended the 100th year of pony penning in Chincoteague, VA. The hotel turned out to be in a great location to shuttles, festivities, and great places to dine. The rooms were nice, clean, and quiet. The rooms overlooking the bay are very nice."

The hotel is being renovated & a few minor items could be touched up (for example, some paint drips & nail touch-ups, the grout & base boards retouched), but nothing that impacted a clean, quiet, comfy nights stay. The parking lot & general area felt safe (as 2 solo women travelers). The staff was very friendly & I will stay here again. Look forwarded to seeing the finished motel!"
"My family and I love it here. Everyone is so friendly, cottages are very clean . We've stayed here two years in a row now!! Only one suggestion. We have a large dog and she was able to turn the handle and get out. Maybe look into actually door knobs!!! Thanks for listening, see you next year!!"
