"This is a really lovely place to stay. We stayed for two nights and had a really spacious room and large bathroom. We ate breakfast and dinner on both days and the food, service and ambience is outstanding. Lovely home cooked food of an extremely high standard with the loveliest staff.

"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."
