"This hotel was perfect for a short stay in LBI. So close to the beach! Easily walkable, safe neighborhood, and the hotel provides beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and water. Everyone was so friendly, including in the restaurants and at the front desk."

"Facility is dated. Our room was too small to accommodate the standard table and chair or two that most hotels and motels have. A/C unit is a wall-sleeve window unit that was very loud, especially when the compressor was running. Pool is in poor condition; there are duck droppings on the deck courtesy of the ducks that inhabit the pool when it is not busy.

"I loved this place. It’s a hotel that doesn’t make a big deal of itself, but there’s a restaurant, bar, and a liquor store all in the same spot! The beach is so close! There’s a fabulous place to have breakfast right around the corner at Wally’s. The price was very reasonable!!"

"it appears that they don’t have a light up hotel sign so it is kind of difficult to locate at night. we originally booked a king suite and was given a queen room. we also vacationed for a total 3 days and our first night we found a cockroach in the room, no others after that though. they don’t service your room during your stay as advertised so clean towels and sheets, toilet paper and other amenities need to be requested at the front desk. the water pressure was kind of low and the showers...

"I booked the room months in advance for the 4th of July for $117. I called at 4:30 on the 4th to let them know we would be coming later in the day as we were at a holiday party. I was told they called me in the morning, which on checking me received calls they did not, and that there was NO room for me. The price had gone up to $250. Gave my room away to make more money "

"First, adjust your expectations. This is a beach motel, not the Ritz Carlton.You'll get a clean exterior entrance room, an option for an upper floor balcony to watch the surf and a place to lay your head after you come back from doing what you're there for...which shouldn't be lounging in a plush hotel. It's the beach. The staff is friendly, the desk is staffed 24/7, they have coffee in the morning and will even give you towels to use on the beach. The only thing that wasn' ok was booking through Hotels.com. They charged an additional $55 per night compared to booking directly with the property, and then refused to honor their price guarantee when called on it. There is no value added here."
