Additionally, securing a rideshare can be difficult as well due to the remote location. "I can't rave about this hotel enough. This is the second time I've stayed there and I purposely planned our trip for an overnight here. We biked from Eltsville to Koblenz and stopped here. They have a secure bike garage. Hotel is right on the Rhine overlooking a castle on the other side. Room is updated and modern and it overlooked the river. Great air conditioning. Dinner is a must - the BEST Sauerbraten in Germany and you have to get their local wine made at their winery. 5 of us went through 2 bottles and we could have had more! Staff is delightful. Breakfast was a feast with all offerings - fresh OJ, meats, cheese and fantastic local honey. Definitely recommend this hotel!"

While the setting and concept hold promise, our stay fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were indifferent and unwelcoming—offering no assistance with luggage, which is surprising for a property of this caliber.
