"It is a great place in the middle of the countryside in a real vineyard with very nice wine and a public beach with restaurants (10-15 minute drive) . No food except a wonderful breakfast in the AM, so come prepared or eat near the beach area. It's a rocky beach so bring proper water shoes... the only downside is that Agriturismo De Luca is a bit difficult to find. Make sure you have explicit instructions before heading out and don't try to find it at night. Be careful to give the owners an...

"This was a magical place to stay from the moment we checked in. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The grounds are breathtaking. We enjoyed the pool for a quiet afternoon swim. The room was comfortable and had everything we would need. The castle itself was amazing to walk through and the staff graciously answered any questions we had. "Excellent option if you need to stop going from the north of Italy to the south. The hotel is run by an Argentinean family and their “asado” is great. They really make you feel at home. Access to the beach is excellent and the water is so clear."

"It was a one night stay on our way to Bologna. Place was very clean and the receptionist was very kind but NO COFFEE again in the room. Or easy access to get a coffee. FULL BREAKFAST was very well done, however.
Also, the location is very very difficult to find especially after dark - not enough lights around and we were there end of October. Restaurant was closed and again - there was absolutely nothing around in October without having to get into the car - it would have been so stressful to have to find our way back. "
